This is a beta 5 candidate for devices running 4.x firmware. It contains many fixes and improvements.
There is a known issue with keyboard input potentially dismissing input if you tap outside of a button on the keyboard or type too quickly. This will be fixed in a follow-up build.
Once this build is installed, do not downgrade back to beta 4. You can safely upgrade this build to beta 5, however.

Connect your device for a guided installation, or choose Manual for the download and copy steps. Back up your device first either way.
Install on your device
These steps are for Kobo firmware 4.38 or later 4.x. Check your firmware in Settings → Device information. Confirm with the sender that this build
is intended for your device.
Back up your device before testing. A test build can contain bugs.
Download the ZIP on a computer and extract it. Inside, find the .adds and .kobo folders. If either is missing,
stop and ask the sender for instructions.
Connect your device to the computer with USB and choose Connect on the device.
In the extracted package, open .adds/kobalt. On the device drive, open .adds/kobalt too. Create those folders on the
drive if they are missing.
Copy only the assets folder from the package into .adds/kobalt on the drive. Replace the old
assets folder if asked. Wait for every file to finish copying.
In the extracted package, open .kobo. Copy KoboRoot.tgz into the .kobo folder on the device
drive. Replace that file if asked. If the package does not contain this file, stop and contact the sender.
After copying finishes, safely eject the device in your file manager and unplug it. Wait for the device to finish installing and restart.
Copy the assets first and the system package last. Do not replace the whole .adds, .adds/kobalt or
.kobo folder. Replacing one of those folders can delete settings, reading data or other mods.
